The Artist

Catherine creates her paintings and ceramics in New Mexico and Hawaii. She is an avid plein air painter who uses acrylics to amplify color and create contrast, adding depth to her work. Her inspiration is drawn from her heartfelt connection to the great outdoors and to places she has called home. From porcelain and stoneware, Catherine creates functional and sculptural ceramics. She enjoys the challenge of balancing form and function in wheel-thrown pottery.
